Hi, I'm Chao!

I recently completed my Mprof in Game Development at Abertay University. I am passionate about designing and implementing levels, puzzles, and gameplay systems. Working as a QA Tester Intern at Rayark Inc. and completing university projects as a Game/Level Designer has provided me with the ability to learn, adapt, and work in any environment while delivering expected results.

Looking for Graduate positions across all aspects of game design, I am excited and aspire to explore and professionally craft compelling experiences that meet the needs of individuals and markets.

A Little More..

My passion for gaming ignited with Pokémon: Silver (2002), where I experienced a unique journey with reliable virtual partners. However, it wasn’t until my first year at university, when I created my first digital game in the Computer Game Development course, that I truly discovered the world of game design. This newfound engagement led to game jams, an internship at Rayark, and my enrolment in the Game Development programme at Abertay University.

Outside of work, I stay active by playing volleyball with my university teams and competing in local tournaments. I also love exploring different cultures through travel, and my interests include reading about psychology, myth, and design. Recently, I’ve taken up playing the saxophone and practicing historical European martial arts (HEMA) for relaxation.
